Uncertain Origin

Human Texts, Generated Texts, Texts Without Alibi

In this article, we present a collection of texts — poems and micro-stories — conceived and crafted by Fabio Armaniacross different eras. Some of these are “prestige pieces”: a selection where the origin of the work is not immediately disclosed.

Certain texts are authentically human; others have been generated by GenAI following an in-depth study of the author’s style, formalized through the creation of an archetype named Fabio_poet.71.

The task of distinguishing one from the other remains yours.

Good hunting.

Note: You are invited to share your impressions, hypotheses, and “discoveries” in the comments.

Torn from the Breath

Fabio Armani

Rome, June 5, 1971

Enter where the Night hawks up its hunger
and let your heart crack open with light
so you shall know who you are.

I will lead you beyond your skin
to the point where pain
will cease to have a face.
